  • Using quotation marks for getting what you are searching in a complete sentence
  • Using a minus sign you can get what you are searching without getting other information with the same name.

  •  Adding a plus sign helps you get the information you want from the pages you like.
  •  In the advance setting you can chose the reading level of the articles that appear in your search.
  • Also you can get pages without usage rights.
  •  Use a search in your region and that the word you are searching only appears in the title.

This tool is always helpful to students I have used it all my life but with the things I learned today I can get quality information more easily and rapidier, with the tips I gathered.

    Social Work Journal

Monday: The first day I arrived at school at 7: 20, then I went to Mr.Stark classroom. In the classroom there where 7 girls and 3 boys, at 7:27 Mr. Stark conducted us to the buses to get a bus that will take us to Hogar Santa Rita. The bus left us in a Spinning Center Gym, and we didn't know where to go even Mr. Stark. So we started walking down looking for the foundation, Mr. Stark asked once where the direction was but the lady didn't know so we continue walking down, we even arrived to "la septima". Then a doorman told us where was the foundation it was the other way we were walking. When we arrived the people didn't know we were coming so we presented ourselves like Cng, ninth grade students, who came to help. They divided us into 3 groups Osos, Tigres and Abejas. I was a Tigre they took us with the osos to a class that was all covered in carpet and asked us to take of our shoes. Then they told us to put some blankets so the kids can lay down there. When we were placing the blankets the first child arrived, Lorenzo Gomez went to carry her to a blanket. The girls was paraplegic, and couldn't talk, when Lorenzo finished carrying her, he went and wash his hands because the girl was wet and had a really bad odor. The more and more kids starting to come the nurses were the ones carrying them to the blankets. Then when all the children where laying down in the blankets, they asked us to massage them with some things like mittens with different textures and sponges. After 2 hours we all leave the class and they divided us into 3 groups again some went to give food to the kids, others to fold clothes and others to type in a computer. i went to fold clothes, the clothes were extremely hot and had a really bad odor. After 1 hour and a half we change with the computer people. Then we started typing the information from the volunteers of the foundation.

Tuesday: The second day when we arrived to the foundation we started making board games for the kids we worked in it for 3 hours. Then we maked puzzles for 1 hour. And after that we went to fold beds in two rooms.

Wednesday: That day we worked in cutting the grass of the park the one it was really unclean and had many insects, contaminated water. At the start we needed to take the park toys to clean them and wash them. It took a lot of soap and water to clean the toys because they had a lot of bacteria. After that we needed to take the grass from the brick whith our hands and the take the roots whith a metal stick. That took us all the that.

    "Design project-day 1"

    I am working alone.

1- The game should be designed for Primary School kids, because they are easier to convince.
2- The game should look easy, but the probabilities of winning should be small, like the slot machines in the casinos.
3- If it is from primary school boys it should have:
    - Superheroes
    -Big Letters
    - Lots of color.
    - Omit putting pink color and girly things.
    - Have really cool prices.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrT_lAnfwKI

Good: The price was really good, I really liked the angry birds toys.

Bad: Its to hard to make it because each play you need to rebuild, its also too easy.

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B1FSDb1TyI

Good: The characters he chose for the games where really good, the Simpsons.
Bad: Is really complicated and expensive making it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbBVbZuSslQ

Good: Is the best game I have seen, the Skee Ball is really cool.
Bad: Is really complicated to do.

    Brain Storm:
Make a Super Heroe game, with big letter, lots of colors and cool prices.
It can be a Skee Ball or a shotting game.

The shooting game should be the best because you can should villans and thats what litle kids like violence in superheroes.

    Things That Can Go Bad:

The cost of making it will be really high or it can be really complicated to make.
